Having craze...
Have not been posting since last monday,so decided to post today!
Having craze over the song 'I made it' by Kevin Rudolf.I normally do not really like english songs so no idea why I like it so much.
Having craze over the 2010 Fifa World Cup online album too.But simply can't wait for the real one to come out.Coz the online one can only collect online,cannot keep for memory.It is the same type of collection like the 2006 Fifa World Cup sticker album and th2 2008 EUFA Euro sticker album I collected.The album and stickers are really very nice.The online one is just like similar to the real one.Hope the real sticker album will come out asap.Hopefully by the next 2-3 weeks.
Today took Napfa test today.Very tiring coz 5 stations and 2.4km all on the same day.Also had Home econs practical test today.Must use apple make like a deco on the plate.Very boring,no training now.Miss basketball.This friday is the start of MR2.Hope to do well.Bye...

CH 32-39 RI.It's all over...
It's so disappointing.Just so disappointing...but I think we can only blame ourselves for yesterday's lost against RI.
We lost 39-32 and that 7pts that they won us was by their accurate 3-pts shoooting.Why did'nt our 3pt shots go in?Why did'nt we got many fastbreak pts?We should be questioning ourselves for all this.They played better yesterday and just deserve win.We were all disappointed and sad after the game,but if we had train harder,we might have won the game.
Our PE HOD reprimanded us and our teacher told the sec 2 to work hard for B division next year and we sec 1 to work hard for next year.Got support from few of our classmates.I will work very hard in training from now on,I think the rest will also do the same so that we can gain revenge against RI next year.Also hope that there will be good sec 1 basketballers next year.
We will stop training until the end of Mastery review 2.Even after MR2,we will only be playing other sports.There will not be training also in the first 2 weeks of the june holidays but there is traing during the 3rd and 4th week.So imagine how long we won't touch the basketball?It is like 6-7 weeks!But we may have many friendly match between july until the start of next season and there may be a trip to Taiwan for the basketball team during the December Holidays!
Did'nt feel like doing anything after coming back yesterday cause I was like thinking back on the game.Darm sad lah.
Remember,Catholic High C'div basketball team will be back next season.

Tomorrow will be an important day,with a important match.Catholic High will play RI and the winner will be Top 4 in South-Zone,whereas the loser will be knocked out.We will give our all and fight till the last minute.It's a do or die game tomorrow,all of us must contribute to the team.

Defeated Bishan Park,will be a straight battle against RI
Hi all.We beat Bishan Park 63-32 to bounce back from our loss against RI,and will just have to beat RI by 1pt and we will be through to the semis held in our sch after Peicai beat RI 41-31.
It was close at the start against Bishan Park but we slowly pulled away the score from the 2nd quarter onwards.Scored a game-high of 7pts!Scored a lay-up,2 free-throws and a 3 pointer,my 1st in secondary school competition!After the match,stayed back to watch Peicai vs RI and when there was a minute left in the 4th quarter,Peicai was leading 35-31.But 2 free-throws and 2 under basket shots made by Peicai concluded the game.
After the win,Peicai will finish 1st in the group while we will battle all out against RI.The team that wins by any number of points will qualify for the semi-finals.
Got 19.5/30 and 5th in class for scince class MR,did'nt expect to be top few.Can't wait for next monday.Cya!

Destiny no more in our hands...
Hi all.We lost to Peicai in yesterday's 2nd round encounter and whether we will get through to the semis will not depend on us anymore.We lost to them 52-68 in the end but we actually only trail them by 1 pt at the end of 3 quarters.
We were actually leading 10-2 in the 1st quarter but did'nt score untill the score was 10-18 midway through the 2nd quarter.That 16pts run for them was actually what made the difference as we lost 16pts to them in the end.
We had closed a 7pt deficit at the end of the 2nd quarter to a single point by the end of the 3rd quarter, but could not sustain their efforts in the 4th quarter.Instead,Pei Cai Sec hit three 3-pointers in the 4th quarter to extend their lead. Four of their players finished with double digit scoring.

Super sad after the lost,all of us were like putting our heads down feeling disappointed.However, our coach said we did play well but we only played for 3 quarters.Our teacher also told us not to give up,continue working hard for next monday.Yeah,next monday is a must win game no matter the outcome of Peicai vs RI game tmr,but the game will some how affect us on whether we need to win by how many points.
Tomorrow will play Bishan park.Nothing else...

Hard fought win over Kent Ridge in 2nd round opener
Hi all.Played against Kent Ridge yesterday.We beat them 45-35 in a game that we should have won by more.
We made alot of miss passes in the 1st quarter and that resulted in a very close game.The reason to this is most probably because we did'nt play for a week and we were very nervous at the start and the referees did'nt call for many obvious fouls,like against Bartley.They also played very rough and we were very frustrated by their rough play.We played better in the second-half and soon open a gap between them and us.Eventhough they outscored us 16-10 in the last quarter,we still manage to beat them by double digits.
Tomorrow crucial match against Peicai.Our coach has got us mentally prepared for a dirty game tomorrow and told us to give our all.He told us we just gotta win by 1 point and that's all that's needed.
Whatever happens tomorrow,I'm ready to battle it all ou t against Peicai.Cya!Hope it's good news tmr!

When I 1st heard that we drawn RI and Peicai together,I thought my teacher was being sarcastic.Sadly it isn't and 3 powerhouses are drawn in he same group.It means that one of us has to be out in the 2nd round.Teams in group Y must be laughing as their group is like 180 degrees different from us.Our group is super strong while theirs are not strong at all with probably the exception of Guangyang,who are favourites to win group Y.
No point complaining about the draw as we can't change it.Just gotta try our best and win both RI and Peicai.The games where Catholic High vs Peicai,Peicai vs RI and Catholic High vs RI are the crucial games in the our group.In a situation where each teams win one of these games,the points difference for only this 3 games will be calculated.If any one of us loses 2 games,the team is definately out,while winning 2 of the 2 crucial games would confirm our place in the semis.
Just gotta give our all,in both defense and offence and win every game,and if we do that,our chance of being zone champions is very high.Next monday will play against Kent Ridge,good warm up for Peicai next wednesday.Cya:)

Praying hard for the best for tmr's draw
Hi all.Tomorrow will be the draw for the South-Zone C'division 2nd round.Hope to get easier teams and avoid RI and Peicai together in the same group as they are the 2 strongest opponents in South-Zone.The best is that we don't draw any one of them but drawing 1 of them may also be good as we may face easier opponents in the semi finals.
Have alot of tests coming up.This saturday have geog test,next week maths and science test also have english poetry project.Hope I do well for this tests.
Can't wait for the 2nd round draw tomorrow.Will post the draw as soon as I know the draw tomorrow.Praying hard not to get Raffles and Peicai together.Cya!

Lousy referee,bad call=Bad game
The referee officiating our match against Bartley Sec totally freaks me out!He only allows us 5 mins for warm-up.We normally take 30 mins for warm-up to get use to the surrounding and everything.Then during the match,we missed alot of under baskets and in the end we only won 72-4,which is far from our coach's target.He said that how many pts we are short off his target,we will do how many sets of punishment on Saturday.
Then during the match when they obviously fouled us,the referee just doesn't call for a foul!When they stepped on or over the line to start the ball,the referee also did'nt call for our ball.This was also quite a rough game and considering on the referee decision,we wasn't really happy to be frank.
We have got no choice though,we can't pick the referee for our games,just hope that we don't get this 2 referees again in future.Scored 2 points today.We are also through to the 2nd round after this win.I think in their team,only Hengwei is a good player(not criticising the rests though).Hengwei is Main five somemore.Shook hands and fists with him after the match.The draw for the second round of matches will be conducted on Friday, 9 April.
Tmr is Good Friday so no school.Will have a long weekend but also alot of homework.Looks like everybody is enjoying this long weekend already,considering the number of ppl on facebook.Hope we will get a good draw for the 2nd round.Cya!
